About Tintin
Land of Black Gold (French: Tintin au pays de l'or noir) is the fifteenth volume of The Adventures of Tintin, the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. The story was commissioned by the conservative Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle for its children's supplement Le Petit Vingtième, the plot revolves around the attempts of young Belgian reporter Tintin to uncover a militant group responsible for sabotaging oil supplies in the Middle East.
During the practical training at the media school BMK we should deal with video and audio. So the task was to in group scoring and animating four pages of Tintin comic. We got the section of the scaned comic.




After a brain storming we decide to do it with parraell effect in After Effect therefore we would had to seprate the scenes, clean them up and once again seprate the objects within a scene into individual layers to be animated later.

Than we went to a Studio to record the dialouge after we distributed the roles among us. There we gain Access to an editing booth where we processed the recorded sound and added the sound effects.

From then on we went individualy animatimg the comic. It took me about 30 hours to get it done with all the effects. The render alone took about 12 hours! I gained a lot of experince working on this task and had so much fun.
